Zhen Li

Zhen (Jessica) Li is currently an attorney at Harness Dickey & Pierce, an elite Intellectual law firm named top 10 Patent firm by Intellectual Property Today. Jessica received her Juris Doctor degree from Washington University in St. Louis, her Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern Illinois university at Edwardsville, and her Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China. Her practice includes IP prosecution and litigation matters. Dancing has been her favorite hobby since college. She joined Wei Dance in 2013 as one of a first batch of students and very much enjoyed Ms. Weiwei’s intensive professional training ever since. She especially appreciates and benefits from Ms. Weiwei’s unique choreography and pedagogy that combine American modern elements with Chinese folk technique. She feels amazing that Ms. Weiwei’s choreographing pieces would allow her to express herself through controlled movements without any words. As such, not only is she more confident when performing but she also possess a stronger and fitter body.
